Generally placement is SSN is good and it is the same for PG students also. The students are placed in top MNCs like Intel, Microchip, QUALCOMM, Sameer, Tata Communications, Alcatel -Lucent, TCS, Infosys, HCL, CTS, Valeo etc. Apart from placement PG students are interested in pursuing higher studies and research. In this regard, our students are in various Indian and foreign universities like Florida International University – USA, University of Catania – Italy, Aalto University Finland, IITs, IIITDM, NIT, SSNCE, Anna University etc. Many of our PG students interested in taking teaching profession and are placed and are well settled in in Government, Self – financing, Deemed to be Universities across various states in India.

Exclusive training on competitive question paper solving is provided by the Carrier development Cell of our Institute. Apart from this, core technology based training is provided to the PG students for 80 hours. Recently for the past two years, CCNA certification courses training is provided in the campus itself with the collaboration of Dynamic Networks Pvt, Ltd., Chennai. Students who took this training were placed before their certification exams and this have helped to acquire job from good core companies too. Few students are continuing in taking advanced training on certification which proves the quality of training provided for PG students.

Additionally, a program on “A day with Alumni for Future Alumni” is conducted by the department for the past three years continuously exclusively for the PG students. This program is a full day interaction session between present PG students with PG alumni in various sectors like core industries, software, banking, civil service, young entrepreneur etc. Through this forum, the PG students are provided information on real expectations of Industry, technical knowledge requirement, Communication skills required, Internship offers, GATE exam preparation, admission process in IITs, research opportunities available in India and abroad, placement opportunities and many more. PG alumni also give hands on experience by mock interviews.

SSN management considers alumni as a valuable asset and resource in building a successful institution. In line with that, the department of ECE regularly invites our alumni to share their academic as well as industrial experiences with the juniors to enlighten them to achieve their passion of interest.
