The unique feature of SSN Institutions is the scholarships awarded to students. SSN offers attractive scholarships to encourage merit and to make education accessible to students of all economic strata. The Institution has initiated a thriving tradition of offering over 600 scholarships every year to meritorious and deserving students.
Scholarships worth Rs 4.87 crores were recently distributed to 579 students of SSN Institutions, based on the academic performance, sports achievement and economic needs.
Since its inception around Rs.90 Crores worth of scholarships have has been disbursed to around 10,000 deserving students, many from extremely challenged backgrounds. SSN institution aims to induct and transform meritorious rural students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, providing them not just free, world-class education-, but also mentoring and nurturance – allowing them to transcend the disadvantages they face and compete with their urban counterparts.
All scholarships include a waiver of tuition fees, free hostel stay and boarding/ grant towards living expenses and an allowance for books.
