The Trust
SSN Trust was founded in 1994 by Mr. Shiv Nadar and his elder brother (Late) Justice Pratap Singh, a Judge of the Madras High Court. The Trust has established the SSN Institutions, comprising SSN College of Engineering (SSN CE), SSN School of Management (SSN SoM), SSN Research Centre, SSN School of Advanced Career Education and SSN Incubation Foundation.
Both the Trust and institutions are named after the Chairman’s father Sri Sivasubramaniya Nadar. The institutions are run on a not-for-profit basis, and aim to provide the highest quality educational and research facilities for meritorious students belonging to all economic strata.
