Ms. S. Angel Deborah, Assistant Professor in the Department of computer science has 8 years and 7 months of teaching experience. She received her B.E (CSE) degree (First class with Distinction) from Jerusalem College of Engineering, M.E (Embedded System Technologies) degree (First Class with Distinction) from Anna University of Technology Tirunelveli. She has been awarded first rank in M.E from University departments of Anna University of Technology Tirunelveli. She is currently pursuing Ph.D from Anna University.

She is a member of the Machine Learning Research Group of SSN and her research interests include Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Data Mining, Embedded Systems and Internet of Things. She has published 11 papers in journal, 26 papers in international conference and 3 papers in national conference. One of the systems developed by her for Fine-Grained Sentiment Analysis on Financial Microblogs and News in SemEval-2017 organised under the umbrella of SIGLEX, the Special interest group on the lexicon of the Association for Computational Linguistics was ranked third. Two of her papers has been awarded “Best paper award” at two different international conference. She has also filed a patent along with her students. She is a member of ACM and IEEE.
