Vision
The ultimate motive of Dr. Sornavalli G is to develop Artificial Intelligence based technical systems to solve problems efficiently and accurately minimizing human efforts.

Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, Algorithms, Operating Systems, Computer Architecture
Education
She finished her schooling at Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Rajapalayam. She was one of the district Matriculation Board Toppers and she secured 97% in Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary School Board Examinations with a Centum in Mathematics and Computer Science. She did her B.Tech., (Information Technology) at College of Engineering, Guindy Campus, Anna University Chennai from 2012-2016. She did her M.E., (CSE) at College of Engineering, Guindy Campus, Anna University Chennai from 2016-2018 with a CGPA of 9.5. She completed her Ph.D. in the thesis titled “Prediction of Stock Markets using Artificial Intelligence Algorithms” in the Department of Computer Science, College of Engineering, Guindy Campus, Anna University Chennai.
Experience & Achievements
She has 4 years of full-time research experience, and she has handled Teaching Duty from 2019-2021 in CEG Campus, Anna University as part of her fellowship scheme. She is working in SSN Institutions, Chennai from December 5, 2022
Her project titled “Smart Home” done using Embedded Systems and Machine Learning was selected as one of the best projects for IBM Project Exhibition. She was selected for Anna Centenary Research Fellowship and NFOBC Research Fellowship schemes during her PhD programme.

- Dr Sornavalli G, Goutham R, Aditya Jyosula have presented a paper titled “Sign Language Detection using Modified Alexnet architecture” in 1st International Conference on Data Analytics and Intelligence Computing on April 6,2024.
- Sornavalli G,Priyanka Vijayabaskar presented a paper entitled “Deepfake Detection by Prediction of Mismatch between Audio and Video Lip Movement” in the 2 day IEEE International Conference on the Advances in Data Engineering and Intelligent Computing Systems ADICS-2024 and won the second prize for the Best Paper Award category(17th-18th April 2024)
