M.E./M.Tech Admissions – SSN Institutions

All the programs at SSN are affiliated to Anna University, Chennai and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.

The curriculum is revised and upgraded regularly. All the programs are conducted on a semester basis. The teaching methodology focuses on classroom lectures, guest lectures, self-learning, assignments, projects, practical sessions, periodical evaluation and feedback. A robust LMS is in place to support the learner-centric instruction. Technology is used effectively to promote independent learning.

The M.E/M.Tech programs are 4 semesters (2 years) long. All the PG programs are residential. Evaluations, both internal and external, are carried out according to the norms of Anna University.

M.E. / M.Tech Programs of SSN are industry relevant. Admission to these courses is strictly by merit. There are currently nine M.E./M.Tech. programs offered at SSN.

Admission for 50% of the seats at SSN is done through the Single Window Counselling as per Anna University norms. The remaining 50% of the seats of the management quota are also filled based on merit.

Grants and Scholarship

Grants and Scholarship for meritorious candidates

1) Merit Grant: For GATE candidates*: (any one of the below mentioned, depending on percentile and marks scored)

Grant of INR 1,00,000 per annum for percentile of 90 and above
Grant of INR 75,000 per annum for percentile of 80 to 89
Grant of INR 50,000 per annum for valid GATE score card holders

*Candidate should have secured marks greater than or equal to qualifying marks for his/her category

2) Walk-in Walk-out scholarship: 100% scholarship for Top 10 Anna University rank holders in B.E./B.Tech. program

3) Rank holder Scholarship: 50% scholarships for the first rank holders of private university

4) Merit cum Means Scholarship: 50% to 100% Tuition fee waiver for candidates based on family income.
