Dr. Premanand Chandramani – Professor

Dr.Premanand V. Chandramani completed his bachelor’s in Electrical and Electronics engineering in 1995 from Annamalai University. He completed his Master’s in Electrical Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, the USA in 1999 and completed his PhD from University of Delaware, USA in 2004 in the area of VLSI for optical interconnects. After a brief stint at UNCC from July 2003 to June 2004 as visiting assistant professor, Dr.Premanand joined San Diego State University as a tenure track assistant professor with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in July 2004 and was there until June 2009. Since July 2009 he has been with SSN College of Engineering, India as a professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering.
His area of research includes radiation-tolerant RF microelectronic circuits and residential demand response for Smart Grid.
