R. Sagaya Milton – Professor

Dr Sakaya Milton R is a professor of Computer Science and Engineering at SSN since January 2024. He has been teaching for 33 years. He received his B.E. degree with Honors in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Thiagarajar College of Engineering, Maduari and M.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from College of Engineering Guindy, and Ph.D. in Information and Communication Engineering (Rough Set Theory and Relational Learning), from Anna University , Chennai. He worked in Madras Christian College, Chennai, from 1993 to 2010, and in SSN College of Engineering from 2010 to 2022. His research interests include Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Reinforcement Learning, and Computer Science Education. He has published over 60 papers in International Conferences and Journals. He has guided two Ph.D. scholars, and a number of Masters theses. He has wide experience in curriculum design for programs and administration. He visited University of Calgary on a fellowship for 3 months.
