Dr. B. Sivakumar, is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics and has 15 years of teaching experience. He received his B.Sc., Mathematics degree from Gurunanak College, Chennai. He obtained M.Sc., Mathematics from IIT Madras, Chennai.
He obtained MPhil degree in mathematics and PhD in mathematics from the Ramanujan Institute for Advanced Study in Mathematics, University of Madras
He qualified in the UGC-CSIR NET examination in 2003 and was awarded the Junior research fellowship for pursuing PhD programme in mathematics.
He is a recognized PhD supervisor of Anna University and currently four scholars are pursuing research under his guidance.
Skill Set : He has Working Knowledge of Mathematical Packages Maple, GAP, Coxeter, SAGE, MATLAB, Julia, R, Python
Research Interest
His research interests include algebra, representation theory, coding theory and probability.
