Dr. R. Kishore, Associate Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication, has 23 years of experience in teaching and 12 years of experience in research. He received his B.E (ECE) degree from Vellore Engineering College, Madras University, M.Tech. in ECE from Pondicherry Engineering College, Pondicherry University, and Ph.D. from Anna University, Chennai. He has published over 40 research publications in the proceedings of international conferences, national conferences and refereed international journals. His area of research is security issues in Wireless Sensor Networks, Image fusion, Compressive Sensing and IoT. He is a recognized supervisor of Anna University. Four research scholars have graduated and are currently guiding two PhD scholars in the security issues in wireless networks and cyber forensics.
He has attended several national-level workshops and two international conferences. He participated in the 15th IEEE International Conference on Ubiquitous Wireless Broadband ICUWB 2015 (IEEE Ranked Conference) held in Montreal, Canada and presented a paper titled “Light Weight Security Architecture for Cluster-based Wireless Sensor Networks”. He has organized several national & international level workshops, faculty development programmes and seven IEEE technically cosponsored international conferences. He is a member of IEEE, IETE and ISTE.
