The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)

This plays a crucial role in ensuring continuous improvement in SSNs’ academic and administrative performance. It focuses on quality enhancement through systematic planning, monitoring and implementing best practices in teaching, research and institutional governance. IQAC works towards developing a quality culture by promoting innovative teaching methodologies, encouraging research and fostering industry collaborations. It also ensures compliance with accreditation standards, enabling SSN to maintain academic excellence and produce industry-ready graduates.

To ensure quality culture as the prime concern for
Sri Sivasubramaniya Nadar College of Engineering through institutionalizing and internalizing all the initiatives taken with internal and external support.

  • To develop a system for conscious, consistent and catalytic action to improve the academic and administrative performance of the institution.

  • To promote measures for institutional functioning towards quality enhancement through internalization of quality culture and institutionalization of best practices.

  • Act as a nodal agency for quality enhancement activities

  • Adopt and disseminate information on quality parameters

  • Prepare and submit Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) to NAAC in time

  • Conduct of Academic and Administrative Audit (AAA) and follow-up

  • Develop Quality Culture in the institution

  • Prepare and submit SSR as per NAAC guidelines

  • Participation in National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF)

  • Submission of data for All India Survey on Higher Education (AISHE)

  • Encouraging Quality Research Publications
