The integrated M. Tech (CSE) program offered by the department of Computer Science and Engineering is designed to acquire a Master’s degree in 5 years after the completion of plus two (or equivalent). It provides rich learning experience for students by preparing them to solve societally relevant problems using Computer Science and Engineering methodologies. The students are provided an opportunity to choose courses from a balanced mix of foundation courses, skill-based courses, industry verticals and emerging technologies.

Project Based Learning

Curriculum
The curriculum for each five-year integrated M. Tech. programme includes Theory, Theory-cum-Practical, and Practical courses with clearly defined Programme Outcomes (PO) and Programme Educational Objectives (PEO) in accordance with the Outcome Based Education (OBE) paradigm. The content of each course is designed based on the intended Course Outcomes (CO). The courses shall cover humanities and social sciences / management) courses, basic sciences, engineering sciences, professional core courses, professional elective courses, open electives, online courses (NPTEL / SWAYAM only), mandatory courses, mandatory learning courses and audit courses. It also includes courses on Business Analytics, Industrial Safety, Operation research, Cost Management of Research projects, Waste to Energy and Composite materials. The students may optionally undergo value-added courses offered by experts from industry/other institutions (Academic/Research) / faculty of the local institution on specialized topics.
