Edna Elizabeth N graduated with her bachelor’s degree from Government College of Technology –Coimbatore in Electronics and Communication in 1990. She obtained her Master’s degree from MIT-Anna University in the year 2001. She completed her PhD in Mobile Ad hoc networking at Anna University.

Edna Elizabeth N graduated with her bachelor’s degree from Government College of Technology –Coimbatore in Electronics and Communication in 1990. She obtained her Master’s degree from MIT-Anna University in the year 2001. She completed her PhD in Mobile Ad hoc networking at Anna University.

She has 28 years of teaching experience and has worked for a reputed company for 5 years. She is a Professor in the Electronics and Communication department at Sri Sivasubramaniya Nadar College of Engineering, SSN Nagar, Kalavakkam, Chennai 603 110, India.

She has 72 publications in International and National Journals and conferences in Mobile Ad hoc Networks. Her current area of research is security issues in Mobile Ad hoc Networks and Vehicular Ad hoc Networks. She guides PhD scholars, both part-time and full-time, on networks.

She received the Best Faculty award for outstanding performance for the academic year 2006-2007 & 2009-2010 at SSN.

She has interactions with SETS ((Society for Electronic Transactions and Security), Taramani, Govt. of India, Chennai regarding student internships.

She has interactions with NIFT–(National Institute of Fashion Technology) regarding the projects based on electronics and textiles.

She is a Life Member of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), New Delhi, a Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), New York, and a Life Member of IETE, New Delhi.

She has reviewed many IEEE transactions and other International Journals.

She received the Best Faculty award for outstanding performance for the academic year 2006-2007 & 2009-2010 at SSN.
