Dr. Ahana Priyanka
B.Tech., M.Tech., Ph.D
Assistant Professor
Department Of Computer Science and Engineering
Dr. Ahana Priyanka completed her postdoctoral fellowship at the Mind Research Network, Albuquerque, New Mexico, where she conducted advanced research on mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI). Prior to this, Dr. Priyanka served as a Postdoctoral Associate at the Yale School of Medicine, where she contributed to multi-omic data analysis aimed at identifying resilience biomarkers for Alzheimer’s disease. She also explored the epigenetic underpinnings of depression and anxiety, working extensively with DNA methylation profiling, epigenetic clock computations, and the integration of omics data.
She earned her Ph.D. in Information Technology from the Madras Institute of Technology, Anna University, where her research focused on developing machine learning frameworks for dementia severity prediction using radiomic features and metaheuristic optimization techniques. She also holds an M.Tech in Information Technology from the same institution and completed her B.Tech in Information Technology in 2014.
