MoU
The Civil Engineering Department at SSN has signed MoUs with leading industries, research organizations, and academic institutions to foster collaboration in research, internships, and training. These partnerships provide students with industry exposure, hands-on learning, and opportunities for innovative projects.
- CBRI: An MoU has been signed between CBRI -CSIR, Roorkee, and Sri Siva Subramaniya Nadar College of Engineering for a period of three years. The main agenda includes collaborative research, internships, and practical training.
- Larsen & Toubro Limited: An MoU has been signed between the Department of Civil Engineering and Larsen & Toubro Ltd. The objective of this MoU is to collaborate on various activities such as development of curriculum to make it industry relevant, training and development of students, internships, project guidance, research and consultancy, and student awards. This is valid for three years.
- CMTI Bangaluru: An MoU has been signed between the Department of Civil Engineering and Construction Management and Training Institute, Bangaluru. This is to bring collaboration with internship, training in various fronts to impart practically relevant skills to students, field visits and workshops for a period of 3 years.
- Builder’s Association of India: An MoU has been signed between the Department of Civil Engineering and Builders’ Association of India, Southern Chapter, India. The main agenda of the MoU is to bring collaboration in conducting industry relevant guest lectures, internship opportunities, pre-placement trainings, field visits, research, consultancy, placement and student awards for a period of 5 years.
- ZEUS Project Consultants Pvt Ltd: An MoU has been signed between the Department of Civil Engineering and ZEUS Project Consultants Pvt Ltd, Chennai. This MoU is intended for taking up various collaborative activities between SSN and ZEUS aimed at closing the gap between academia and the industry, specifically in the areas of Civil Engineering for a period of 3 years.
- Artelia Consulting Engineers Limited: An MoU has been signed between the Department of Civil Engineering and Artelia consulting Engineers Limited, Chennai. The main agenda of the MoU is to bring collaboration in imparting practical skills to students by guest lectures, project guidance, boot camps, internship opportunities, workshops, research, consultancy, student awards and placement between both parties. This MoU is for a period of three years.
- Consolidated Construction Consortium Limited: An MoU has been signed between the Department of Civil Engineering and Consolidated Construction Consortium Ltd, Chennai. This is to bring collaboration with internship, training in various fronts to impart practically relevant skills to students, research, curriculum committees, pre-placement support, field visits, students awards and workshops for a period of 3 years.
- Taiwan Carbon Shuttle Technology Co., Ltd.: An MoU has been signed between Taiwan Carbon Shuttle Technology Co., Ltd., and Sri Siva Subramaniya Nadar College of Engineering for a period of three years. The main agenda of this MoU is for research collaboration.
- Northeastern University: An MoU has been signed between Northeastern University and Sri Siva Subramaniya Nadar College of Engineering for a period of three years. The main agenda of this MoU is for academic and research collaboration.
