Dr. Saroj Kumar Panda is a Chemical Engineer with over 15 years of experience in computational fluid dynamics (CFD), multiphase flow simulations, and experimental research. He holds a PhD from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi and M.Tech from Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur. Dr. Panda’s expertise lies in designing of process equipment for nuclear fuel reprocessing, conducting large-scale CFD simulations for liquid-liquid, solid-liquid and gas-liquid multiphase systems. He has contributed to the thermal management of the nuclear fuel storage vault for fast reactor and analysis of passive cooling systems. Prior to join SSN College of Engineering, Kalavakkam, Chennai, he was working as a postdoctoral researcher and later as a Scientist at Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research, Kalpakkam, Tamil Nadu.
