His recent postdoctoral research includes solvent-based post-combustion carbon dioxide (CO2) capture system that integrates a low-enthalpy, aqueous potassium carbonate-based solvent with an absorption-enhancing carbonic anhydrase (CA) enzyme catalyst and a vacuum regenerator in a re-circulating absorption-desorption process configuration. During his Post Doctoral Research, built a Post Combustion CO2 Capture and Regeneration Unit (Mini Pilot Plant). These involves developing a Process Flow Diagram, Mass and Energy Balance Calculation, Equipment Design Calculation, selecting a Suitable Measuring Devices, Process Control and Data Acquisition System, Unit Assembling and Troubleshooting during Shake Down Testing. His doctoral dissertation was conducted in Clean Coal Technology using high-intensity and high-frequency Ultrasound. Springer Outstanding Ph.D. Thesis Award has been given for developing a high through output novel ultrasonic process for cleaning of high sulfur and high ash coal during Ph.D. research programme. And also, during his Ph.D., involved in various Industrial Consultancy Research.

Total 15+ Years of Teaching and Research Experience at various Premier Institutions and R&D. He has worked as a Project Officer at IIT Madras on two different Industrial Projects. Further, worked as a Teaching Faculty at Karpaga Vinayaga College of Engineering and Technology, Madhuranthagam and National Institute of Technology (NIT Trichy) (Temporary), Tiruchirappalli. He has taught various subjects to undergraduate students such as Unit Operation, Fluid Mechanics, Mass Transfer, Chemical Engineering Thermodynamics, Transport Phenomena and Environmental Engineering, for Post Graduate Students Chemical Process and Flow Sheeting, Water and Land Pollution Control Plant Design. He had involved in various extra-curricular activities like Volunteered in PAN IIT Research Symposium 2008 (PIRS ‘08) held at IIT Madras and Volunteered in CHEMFERENCE’09 held at IIT Madras, Tamilnadu, India.
