Applications are invited from qualified candidates for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under a research project sponsored by “SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING RESEARCH BOARD(SERB), Government of India” to be executed in the Department of Physics, Sri Sivasubramaniya Nadar College of Engineering, Kalavakkam, Chennai – 603 110.

Title of the project:   Fabrication of homogeneous plastic scintillators by thermal polymerization reaction for fast neutron detection applications

Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science selected through a process described through any one of  the  following:

a. Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.

b. The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO,  MHRD,  ICAR,  ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc.

Fellowship : Rs. 31,000/- PM fixed + 8 % HRA for first 2 year,  Rs. 35,000/- PM fixed + 8 % HRA for 3^rd  year

Others: As per Institution Norms

Registration for Ph.D : Selected candidate will be encouraged to register for PhD under Anna University, Chennai.
