SSN’s engineering programmes are designed with well-defined PEOs, POs, and PSOs to ensure holistic student development. PEOs outline long-term career and academic goals, POs define the key competencies graduates will attain, and PSOs specify specialised skills relevant to the discipline, equipping students for industry and research excellence.

PSO1Apply knowledge of mathematics, science and engineering fundamentals to model,design and analyse components or processes of thermal and mechanical systems.
PSO2 Identify, formulate, review research literature and analyses complex problems in processing and manufacturing of Materials, reaching substantiated conclusions usingprinciples of mathematics, science, and engineering management.

PO1Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization for the solution of complex Mechanical engineering problems.
PO2Identify, formulate, research literature, and analyse complex Mechanical engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.
PO3Design solutions for complex Mechanical engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for public health and safety and cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.
PO4Conduct investigations of complex Mechanical Engineering problems using research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of information to provide valid conclusions.
PO5Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT tools, including prediction and modelling to complex Mechanical engineering activities, with an understanding of the limitations.
