B.Tech Admissions at SSN
SSN offers B.Tech programs affiliated with Anna University, Chennai, and approved by AICTE, New Delhi. As an autonomous institute, SSN regularly updates its curriculum to align with industry standards, ensuring a robust learning experience.
The B.Tech program spans four years (eight semesters), incorporating classroom lectures, guest sessions, hands-on projects, and self-learning, supported by a dynamic Learning Management System (LMS). Both internal and external evaluations follow Anna University norms.

B.Tech Admissions – Eligibility & Selection Process
Admissions are open to all individuals except Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), People of Indian Origin (PIO), and Foreign Nationals (FN). Applicants seeking admission under the Sports Quota must select the appropriate category while filling out the admission form.
- Candidates must have completed Plus Two (10+2) or an equivalent qualification in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
- Selection is based purely on merit, calculated using the following formula:
Q = M + ((P + C) / 2)
Where:- M = Percentage marks in Mathematics
- P = Percentage marks in Physics
- C = Percentage marks in Chemistry
- Note: Submission of the application form does not guarantee selection; admission is strictly based on the merit of qualifying marks.
Candidates must have passed the qualifying examination i.e (10+2) of Indian System or its equivalent (completed 12 years of school education)
The sports persons proficient in the under mentioned sports / games only are eligible to apply under this category:

1.Foreign Nationals (FN)
Students from foreign countries with foreign passports are eligible to apply under this category. Students must have completed their Class XII or equivalent from a recognised Board/University with Physics, Chemistry and Maths as their main subjects. In case of boards other than CBSE the students have to submit an equivalence certificate certifying the equivalence to the CBSE board

2. People of Indian Origin (PIO)
Students from People of Indian Origin with foreign passports are eligible to apply under this category. Students must have completed their Class XII or equivalent from a recognised Board/University with Physics, Chemistry and Maths as their main subjects. In case of boards other than CBSE the students have to submit an equivalence certificate certifying the equivalence to the CBSE board

Introduction:
Under this category admissions is offered to children of Non Resident Indians
Candidates must have passed the qualifying examination i.e (10+2) of Indian System or its equivalent (completed 12 years of school education)
