Introduction
Dr.S.Vanitha, Assistant professor in the Department of Mathematics has joined SSNCE since December 2010. She received her B.Sc degree in Mathematics from CTTE College for Women and secured first rank in B.Sc. She was awarded M.Sc. in Applied Mathematics from College of Engineering, Anna University, Chennai and M.Phil at Meenakshi College, Chennai. She secured second rank in M.Sc at Anna University, Chennai and first rank in M.Phil at Meenakshi College. In September 2010, she was awarded Ph.D from Ramanujan Institute for Advanced Study in Mathematics, University of Madras, Chennai.
During her Ph.D, she was awarded UGC meritorious fellowship for research in Science.
She has published over 25 research papers in refereed international journals. She participated and attended various workshops and conferences. She is a recognized supervisor of Anna University, Chennai.

Stochastic processes, Queueing Theory, Reliability Theory, Mathematical Biology
