Dr. K. Usha, Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics has over 18 years of professional experience including 2 years in the industry, 13 years in academics and 3 years in research in the field of High Voltage Engineering.

She received her B.E (EEE) degree – first class with distinction from the University of Madras, Chennai and M.E. (High Voltage Engineering) degree – first class from Anna University, Chennai. She received her Ph.D. degree from the Division of High Voltage Engineering, College of Engineering (CEG), Guindy, Anna University, Chennai.

She has published over 20 research publications in refereed international journals and in proceedings of international conferences. She is a recognized supervisor to guide M.S (Research) and Ph.D. degree programs offered by Anna University, Chennai. She is currently working in the area of design optimization and fault localization in High Voltage Apparatus.
