Dr. M. Balaji, Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering has 21 years of teaching and research experience.
He received his B.E (EEE) degree first class with distinction from Annamalai University, M.E. Power Electronics and Drives (Anna University 5th Rank) from Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering, Anna University and Ph.D in the area of Special Electrical Machines from Anna University.
He has published 50 papers in international journals and around 60 papers in national and international conferences. He has coordinated international conferences, organized national level workshops, and has delivered guest lectures at various conferences and workshops.
He is a recognized supervisor for Anna University. He is currently guiding 4 Ph.D scholars and 7 scholars have completed Ph.D under his guidance. His area of interest includes Design and Control aspects of Electrical Machines, Electric Vehicles and Power Converters.
He received SSN Best Teacher Award for the academic year 2011-2012 and 2019-2020. He is a member of IEEE and Life member of ISTE.
