Dr. S. Krishnaveni – Associate Professor

Dr. S. Krishnaveni, Associate professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering has 20 years of teaching experience. She has been with SSN since February 2006. She received her B.E in EEE from Amritha Institute of Technology, Coimbatore under Bharathiyar University. She obtained her M.Tech in Power system and Power Electronics from IITM, Chennai and Ph. D from Anna University. Her area of interest includes power electronics and High voltage engineering. She is an active member of IEEE and a life member of ISTE.
She is a recognized supervisor for Anna University and currently guiding 1 Ph.D scholar.
She has completed a project as Principal Investigator titled “High voltage pulse generator based High gain DC-DC Converter for PEF food processing” funded by SSN Trust amount of Rs 2.15 Lakhs during 2016-2018.
She has been featured in The New Indian Express for her project work “The pulsed electric liquid food processor” on 24th September 2018.
She has organised and has been part of conducting several workshops at SSN College of Engineering.

Pulsed electric field technology for food processing, Power converters for Electric vehicles, Multilevel Inverters for renewable energy, High voltage Engineering.
