Dr. R. Nithya, Assistant Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering has 15 years of teaching experience. She completed her undergraduate in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering with First class from Anna university, in 2002 and her Post-graduation in Biomedical Engineering with First class from College of Engineering, Anna University in 2008. She received a Ph. D. Degree in the Faculty of Information and Communication Engineering from Anna University in 2021. She has carried out her research in Development Of Decision Support System For Detection Of Retinal Disorders. Her areas of interest include Image processing, Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive devices.. She has publications in refereed Journals and conferences.. Her ongoing Research project includes Prosthetic hand development and Thermal image analysis for retinal disorders.
