Mr. Nafis Ahmed, Research Scientist in Research Centre has 2 years of research experience in the field of Thin-film Silicon solar cells.He received his M.Sc. (Physics) degree with specialization in Solid State Physics from Sardar Patel University, Gujarat, and M.Tech. Nanotechnology from VIT University, Vellore.He is currently involved in the fabrication of amorphous and nanocrystalline silicon thin films using PECVD technique for photovoltaic application. His specialization includes semiconductor devices, synthesis of metal nanoparticles and deposition and growth of thin films. His research interest include application of Nanomaterials for fuel cell application, Thin film solar cells and Amorophus solar cells.He has published 4 research publications in international conferences. He has currently working on one DRDO funded project worth Rs. 88 lakhs.
