Dr. Durgadevi Velusamy received her B.E., and M.Tech., degrees with distinction all in Computer Science and Engineering in 2004 and 2008 respectively from Bharathidasan University, India. She completed her PhD in Information and Communication Engineering in 2019 at Anna University, Chennai, India. She was the recipient of IEEE Best Paper Award in 2017. She is a recognized Supervisor of Anna University, Chennai and presently she is guiding 4 Ph.D scholars in the multi-disciplinary domains of Network Security, Anomaly Detection, Renewable Energy Generation, and Optimization Techniques for renewable power systems. She has received an internal fund of Rs.6.8 lakhs from SSN Trust. She has a total of 16 years of experience of which 10 years in research. Her research interest includes network security, Machine Learning techniques, and Data Analytics.
