Dr. Sabireen H is an accomplished researcher and academician with over 5 years of experience in industry and academia. She has a passion for driving advancements through innovative research and collaboration.
Education
Dr. Sabireen H completed her B.E.CSE from Panimalar Engineering College, Anna University, Chennai by graduating as a gold medalist and achieving the 6th rank under the Faculty of Information and Communication Engineering. She completed her M.E. CSE at the College of Engineering Guindy, Anna University. She completed her Ph.D from Vellore Institute of Technology, Chennai.
Work Experience
As a Research and Engineering Scientist at Zoho Corporation, Dr. Sabireen led innovative research projects that merged scientific principles with engineering methodologies to tackle complex technological challenges. She worked at VIT Chennai as an Assistant Professor (Contract) and played a crucial role in undergraduate education, delivering lectures on essential computer science topics and mentoring students in their research projects. She also worked at Infosys as a System Engineer, where her role involved the entire SDLC process, including analysis, design, development, unit testing, and implementation of enterprise-level applications where she contributed to major telecommunications and banking projects.
Research Interests and Achievements
Dr. Sabireen H.’s research focuses on the intersection of Fog computing, AI and Optimization algorithms. She explores proactive fault prediction models, scheduling and application placement techniques in fog environments using evolutionary algorithms, machine learning and deep learning models. Her work also extends to multi-objective optimization in fog computing aiming to improve the efficiency and scalability of distributed systems. Additionally, she is interested in developing lightweight frameworks for real-time data processing and decision-making within fog networks, driving innovation in IoT-Fog and AI-driven applications.
She has received the Research Raman Award at VIT Chennai and the Best Outstanding Student from Panimalar Engineering College. She has been a consistent reviewer for many journals and conferences.
