Mohanavallihas 5 years of industrial experience and 25 years of teaching experience, including 16 years of research experience in the field of Machine Learning & Data Analytics.
She received her B.E. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from GCT, Coimbatore, in 1992 and M.E. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University, Chennai, in 2005 and 2016, respectively. She started her career in the teaching field as a lecturer in 1998 at MNM Jain Engineering College and joined SSN as a lecturer in 2001.
She is a member of the Machine Learning Research Group of SSN, Member IEEE, life member of Computer Society of India (CSI), and Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE). Her research interests include machine learning and pattern recognition, data mining and data analytics. She has more than 30 publications in reputed National and International Conferences and Journals.

- Co-Investigator of the project titled “Behaviour Analysis of Privacy Leaks on Twitter” funded by SSN Management (2017-2019).
- Co-Investigator of the project titled “A Prediction System for Pest and Disease Occurrences in Plant” funded by SSN Management (2021-2023).
- Co-Investigator of the project titled “A Hybrid Approach for Query-based Text Summarization using Deep Learning” funded by SSN Management (2021-2022).
Awards Received
Best Teacher Award in MNM Jain Engineering College for the year 2000-2001.
