Dr. R. Swathika, Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Technology has 23 years of teaching experience, including 8 years of research experience in the field of image processing.
She has completed her Ph.D. from Faculty of Information and Communication Engineering, Anna University, Chennai in the area of satellite image processing during April 2021.She received her M.Tech degree in Computer Science and Engineering with distinction from National Institute of Technology (NIT), Trichy and B.E degree in Computer Science and Engineering with first class from Bharathiyar University, Coimbatore.
She is a recognized supervisor of Anna University. She is associated with Image processing research group at SSN. She has more than 30 publications in reputed national and international conferences and journals.
She guided the projects in the areas of text mining, human gait analysis, pattern recognition, data analytics, eye gaze tracking, image detection and recognition, image classification, image fusion, emotion recognition and video analysis for UG and PG students.
