Dr. P. Nagapandiselvi – Assistant Professor

Dr. P. Nagapandiselvi, graduated from Madurai Kamarajar University in the year 2004 and she received her M.Sc and M.Phil degrees in Physics subsequently with distinction from Bharathidasan University. She obtained her Doctorate degree from Anna University in the year 2015. Her research work is mainly focused on synthesis and characterization of new organic, Inorganic and Semi-organic compounds for nonlinear optical applications, Synthesis and characterization of thin films for solar cell applications, photocatalysis, alternative energy, and theoretical evaluation by DFT analysis also forms a part of her work. She worked in UGC and CSIR funded projects as a Project Fellow for 3 years and later she was selected as SRF by CSIR. She has published 18 papers in Refereed International Journals and presented 40 papers in various National and International conferences. She is a recognized Ph. D supervisor of Anna University, Chennai and presently guiding students. She is a life member of Indian Association of Crystal Growth. Prior to joining SSN, she has one year of teaching experience in the Department of Physics, Anna University and 12 years of Research experience in the field of Crystallography , Crystal Growth, Thin films, nano materials and alternative energy sources (Solar cell & Biofuels).
