Dr. N. Sripriya is an Associate professor in Department of Information Technology. She has 24 years of teaching experience at SSN College of Engineering since 2000. She also possesses 16 years of research experience in the field of speech and natural language processing.

She received her B.E. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from University of Madras in 2000 and M.E. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University, Chennai, in 2005 and 2016, respectively.

Research

She is a recognized supervisor of Anna University and currently guiding a research scholar. She also has a team of students working in the area of speech and natural language processing. Her research interests include speech signal processing, natural language processing, pattern recognition techniques and machine learning. She has around 35 publications in Journals and Conferences.

Funded Projects

• Principal Investigator of the project titled “A hybrid approach for Query-based Text Summarization using Deep Learning”, funded 1.1Lakhs by SSN Management (2020-2021).
• Co-Investigator of the project titled “A Prediction System for Pest and Disease Occurrences in Plants” funded 1.5Lakhs by SSN Management (2020-2021).
