Dr. M. Shanmugapriya – Assistant Professor

Dr. M. Shanmugapriya, Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics has 11 years of teaching and research experience. She received her Doctoral degree in Department of Mathematics from Anna University specializing in Fluid Mechanics, Master’s degree from Madurai Kamaraj University and a Bachelor’s degree from Gandhigram Deemed University. She has published more than 20 Research Papers in International and National Journals. Currently, she is guiding 2 Full-time and 1 Part-time Ph.D scholars. Her research interests include Computational Fluid Mechanics, Heat and Mass Transfer, MHD flow, Newtonian and non-Newtonian flow and Artificial intelligence. She is carrying out a 3-years project titled “Prediction of mechanical properties of nano-concrete using artificial neural networks and fuzzy logic” with a budget of 5.5 lakh funded by SSN Trust.
