Dr. G.R.Venkatakrishnan, Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering has 4 years of teaching experience. He received his B.E (EEE) degree, first-class, with distinction, M.E. Control Systems and Ph.D. from Anna University Chennai. During his Ph.D. he developed modifications in optimization Algorithms and developed a novel approach for solving power system problems incorporating renewable energy sources.

He has published over 10 research publications in refereed international journals and in proceedings of international conferences and he has coauthored engineering books that are published by Tata McGraw Hill and Pearson.

  2. Reviewer for many Conferences in the area of Software Engineering.
  3. Member of Editorial board of Computer Society of India – Chennai Chapter News letter, INFOLINE.

  5. Received “Senior Educator and Scholar” award from National Foundation for Entrepreneurship Development, Coimbatore, TamilNadu, India, Oct 2016.
