Dr. G. Kalpana – Assistant Professor

Dr. G. Kalpana, Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics has 12 years of teaching and 4 years of research experience in the field of Fixed Point Theory and its Applications.
She received her B.Sc (Maths) from Jawahar Science college affiliated to Madras University, M.Sc. and M.Phil Degree (Mathematics) from Annamalai University. She obtained her Ph.D from Anna University, Chennai.
She received the following awards while doing her M.Phil and Ph.D.
She was awarded CSIR Senior Research Fellowship (CSIR-SRF) for the period of two years from March 2007 to 2009 to pursue her Ph.D.
She was awarded the Jawaharlal Nehru Fellowship for research (JRF)for the period of one year from March 2006 to 2007.
She received Ramaswamy Endowment Award for her M.Phil degree.
She has published over 20 peer-reviewed research papers in reputed international journals and 15 research papers in the conference proceedings.
She is a recognized Ph.D supervisor of Anna University. Her research interest includes Fixed Point and its applications, Metric Spaces, Soft set theory.
