Dr. P. Kaythry, Associate Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication has 21 years of teaching and research experience. She has received the Best Faculty award for her outstanding performance. She is also the NSS Programme Officer of the College and received Best NSS Programme Officer award from Anna University and Tamil Nadu State Government. She has received her B.E (ECE) degree- First class with distinction from the University of Madras. She has received her M. Tech Electronics and Communication degree- First class with distinction from Pondicherry University. She has completed her Ph.D in the area of “Error control schemes for  Sensor networks” from Anna University, Chennai.

She has guided 60 Graduate and 12 Postgraduate scholars. Currently, she is guiding three Ph. D scholars. She is a member of IEEE and Life member of ISTE and IETE. Her areas of interest include Vehicular Networks, Error Control coding and Network Security.

She has published many research papers in referred international Journals and international conference proceedings. She is currently involved in 5G use cases lab funded by Department of Telecommunication as Project Member.
