Dr. M. P. Actlin Jeeva, Assistant Professor Grade II in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, SSN College of Engineering (Autonomous), Chennai, has received her B.E. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Anna University and M.E. degree in Communication Systems from Anna University. She obtained her Ph.D. degree from Anna University for her research work on Dynamic multiband filter structure for simultaneous improvement of speech quality and intelligibility. Before joining SSN, she was an Assistant Professor at KL (deemed to be) University, Hyderabad campus. She has around 10 years of teaching and research experience.

Her research interests include speech enhancement, speech technology, speech signal processing, speech synthesis and voice conversion. She has over 17 publications in reputed conferences and journals.
