From the year 2018 SSN has instituted the Distinguished Alumnus Award which will be awarded to an alumni of SSN who has displayed significant achievements in his chosen profession and displayed commitment towards the mission of SSN.
The inaugural distinguished alumni award was today conferred upon Mr.SivakumarPalaniswamy an alumnus of the class of 2011. Mr.SivakumarPalanisamy is a cofounder of healthcare startupNeolight in the United States. His startup as featured in the prestigious Forbes list of innovative startups in 2016. He has also invented a socially relevant product – Smart Walking Cane for visually challenged.
