Profile

I. Jayakaran Amalraj completed his school education at St. Joseph’s Hr. Sec. School, Chengalpatu, B. Sc Maths at A. M. Jain College, Meenambakkam in 1987, M. Sc Maths and M. Phil from Madras Christian College, Tambaram. He has registered for the Ph. D programme in the field of Computational Fluid Dynamics under the guidance of Dr. A. Kandasamy, Prof & Head, Department of MACS, NITK, Surathkal.

His teaching career started in 1993 as Lecturer in Mathematics at M. N. M. Jain Polytechnic, then at St. Peter’s Engineering College, and Adhiyamaan Engineering College, Hosur. In Oct 1997, he joined SSN College of Engineering as a Lecturer, and was promoted as Senior Lecturer in 2001 and Selection Grade Lecturer in 2007. He served as Academic Council Member representing SSNCE in the University of Madras during the period 2001-2004. He has been awarded the Best Teacher in Humanities and Science Department in 2006.
