Thiruvaazhi U, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Technology at SSN Institutions, has been focusing his work on Information Networking and Security since 2003. In line with his specialization, he has obtained international standard certifications CISSP and CSSLP from (ISC)2 . As a team, he works along with a group of faculty and students through the “Forum for Information Networking and Security”, named FINS, with the motto “For Inspiring and Navigating Security Research”.
With an undergraduate degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and a graduate degree in Computer Science and Engineering, he has been working as an engineering teacher since 1997. He has been facilitating the learning of wide range of courses starting from Electrical Engineering to Information Security and guiding project work that aims to apply the most recent research outcomes for practically demanding problems of the real world. Doing this requires him to be in continuous contact with the happenings in the research and the industrial community ((ISC)2, CRSI, IEEE and ISTE) by engaging actively in attending, conducting and contributing to seminars/workshops, relevant to his focus area.
He loves to learn, practice, share, work as a team, and aspire for realization of greater truth, that would be of significant use to humanity. Driven by this, he is happy to share to his students and other similar aspirants, whatever positive experiences and understanding that he gains in this pursuit.
