M.G.Kavitha graduated from Shanmuga College of Engineering, Thanjavur during the year 1998 in Computer Science and Engineering Discipline. She obtained her Master’s degree during the year 2007 with the specialization in Computer Science and Engineering from SSN College of Engineering, Chennai. Currently she is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Information Technology, SSN College of Engineering, Kalavakkam, Chennai - 603 110. She has over 9 years of work experience in teaching. She has taught various subjects like Database Technology, Data Mining & Warehousing, Visual Programming, Multimedia, Operating Systems, Data Structures, Design and Analysis of Algorithms, Computer Graphics, MIS, Computer Architecture, etc. She has guided about 15 projects so far in the areas of Data Mining and Data Base technology and has published 3 technical papers in National and International Conferences. Her current research areas of interest include Database Management Systems, Data Mining.
