FIESTA 'INSTINCTS 2K9' KICKS OFF |

Chennai, 5th March 2009: SSN
Institutions' cultural fest Instincts2K9 was inaugurated
today by actor Aarya at the SSN college campus at Kalavakkam.
The three-day fest is organized by SSN Institutions in
association with HCL.
Instincts 2K9 will include a variety of competitions,
workshops, games and pro-shows. More than 15000 students
from over 300 colleges will be showcasing their talent and
creativity, in music, dance, theatre, literature, quizzing,
photography and much more.
Some of the popular shows include DJ night by DJ Laara, on
March 5th; and pro-show by popular singer Karthick and a
Bike Stunt show, on March 6th.
Choreo Night where the most talented college dance troupes
energize the crowd with their fiery performances, and Light
music Group where college music bands churn out the right
mix of music to win everyone's hearts, are the most popular
competitions.
Some popular judges for the competitions at the fest include
Srilekha Parthasarathy for light music group, Director Mano
Bala for variety entertainment, and Editor Lenin for
photography.
Students can also try their hands at new skills by attending
workshops conducted by professionals on Radio Jockeying,
Dancing and Pottery Making, or add colour to their lives at
the tattoo and mehendhi stalls.
The geek, the lit-stud, the gamer, the wild child; there is
something for everyone at Instincts 2K9, which promises to
be bigger and better this year.
