Established in 1996, the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering of SSNCE is set in lush greenery. Drawing upon SSNCE's tradition of teaching excellence, the Department of EEE with 31 faculty and 560 students works closely together in an open, collegial atmosphere. With Anna University's curriculum, the Department places equal emphasis on theoretical and experimental electrical and electronics engineering.

Our Mission is to educate students from all over India, including those from the local and rural areas, so that they become enlightened individuals, improving the living standards of their families, industry and society. We provide individual attention and world class quality of education. The Department has been accredited by NBA (National Board of Accreditation). The EEE Department has been organizing many symposium, guest lectures and the IEEE Chapter. The Department has well equipped facilities like Standard labs and a Seminar hall.
