Profile

Dr. P. Vijayalakshmi has 13 years of teaching and research experience. She has completed her B.E. (ECE) from Bharathidasan University with First class and distinction and M.E. Communication systems from R.E.C Trichy. She has completed her Ph.D at IIT Madras titled "Detection of hypernasality and Assessment of dysarthria using signal processing techniques". During her Ph.D she worked with Prof. Douglas O'Shaughnessy INRS-EMT, Montreal, Canada for a year as a Doctoral trainee. She has 10 international conference papers and 2 international journal papers to her credit. Her area of interest is Speech signal processing, Speech synthesis, speech pathology.
