Profile

She has obtained her B.E degree in ECE   from Madurai Kamaraj University  and M.E from Bharathiar University .  She did her research in the area of .Mobile Ad Hoc Network and obtained her Ph.D from Anna University, Chennai.  Prior to joining SSN, she was with Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College, Coimbatore.  She joined SSN on 16th  July 2003.  Her teaching experience spans for over 18 years. Her research interest inclued Routing Algorithms, QoS related routing, Security in ad hoc networks, Architecture for ad hoc networks using VLSI, Wireless sensor networks – Routing, Security, Networking on-chip. She is a member in IEEE and Fellow of ISTE.  She has delivered numerous guest lectures and attended many conferences and workshops in India.  She has to her credit 7 publications in International Journals, 22 publications in International conferences and 8 publications in National conferences. She is supervising 9 Ph.D research scholars who are working in the area of Securing QoS in Mobile Ad Hoc Network, Addressing Routing and Security issues in Wireless sensor network and Cognitive radios. She is the recipient of CTS – SSN Faculty – 2007 for outstanding performance for the academic year 2006-2007. She has been chosen as a candidate in Who’s who in Science & Engineering for 10^th Anniversary edition published in Dec.’07.
