Dr. V. S. Kanchana Bhaaskaran, Professor in the department of Electronics and Communication Engineering is a Member of the Institution of Engineers (India), Fellow in the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers and Member of Institution of Engineering and Technology (UK). She has obtained her M.S. degree from Birla Institute of Technology and Sciences, Pilani and Ph D from the V I T University. She has 31 years of industry, research and teaching experience through serving the Department of Employment and Training, Govt. of Tamilnadu, Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai, Salem Cooperative Sugar Mills’ Polytechnic College, SRM Engineering College and SSN College of Engineering. Her specializations include VLSI Design Techniques, Low Power Design of VLSI circuits involving nanometer scale devices, Microprocessor circuit architectures and Linear Integrated Circuits. As a recognized supervisor by Anna University, She is guiding one Ph D student and she has also been guiding several M E students. She was the Principal Investigator for the project “FPGA Design for Pulsed Signal Processing” sponsored by the IGCAR, Kalpaakam. She has co-authored a book titled Linear Integrated Circuits for the Higher Education Series of McGraw Hill India. She has published 32 papers in International and National conferences and has 2 papers published in international journals. She is a reviewer for the IET proceedings on Circuits, Devices and Systems, IEEE Transactions on VLSI circuits, Electronics Letters, IEEE Conferences and International Journal of Electronics.
