Academic Year 2011-2012 - The KHATRAA team comprising of R.Dinesh, KBhaskar, S.Dinesh and C.Ajit Nataraj of final year B.Tech IT, guided by Mr.S.Rajkumar (AP/IT), was ranked amongst the top 20 teams in IBM TGMC-2010 project contest for their project titled “Online National Polling System” on 15.11.2011.
- P. Jeevitha , S. Dinesh - Final Year B.Tech IT 'A' Sec and V. Narendan - Final Year B.Tech IT 'B' Sec, have received the Best NSS Volunteers Award from Anna University Chennai. They received the award from Honurable Minister for Higher Education Thiru P. Palaniappan, Government of Tamilnadu during the function organized by NSS Cell, Anna University, Chennai in their Campus on 01.12.2011.
- Manoj M, Karthik R and Rajesh Kumar K – Final Year B.Tech IT students, got selected for internship for 3 months at Cognizant (CTS), Chennai on 24.11.2011.

Supreeth S, from 3rd Year B.Tech IT, represented India at the world finals of Microsoft Imagine Cup 2010 in Warsaw, Poland during 4th to 8th July 2010. Earlier in April 2010, his project Invisible Ideas emerged as a winner at the India finals of Imagine Cup 2010, world's premier student technology competition.

Supreeth S of Final Year IT emerged as a winner at the India finals of Imagine Cup 2010, the World's Premier Student Technology Competition organized by Microsoft India held in Bangalore on April 30, 2010. More than 85,000 Indian students from colleges across the country registered for the Microsoft Imagine Cup competition this year. Out of these, after a series of shortlists, the top five teams remained including Suprreth’s Invisible Ideas competed for the first prize and the honor of representing the country. Supreeth’s Team Invisible Ideas came up with a unique solution of converting educational content into fun computer games and making the learning process exciting for students, highlighting how technology helps to solve the toughest problem of education prevailing in the country and team Invisible Ideas finally being chosen as the best. Supreeth will represent India at the World Finals of Imagine Cup 2010 in Warsaw, Poland, from July 3rd to July 8th, 2010.

A team of Final Year IT students comprising M. Mahalakshmi Manju, S. Balaji and S. Arun Kumar under the guidance of Mr. I. Joe Louis Paul (AP/IT) participated in the online contest of ACM-ICPC (International Collegiate Programming Contest) on 13th September 2009. They have secured 43rd rank out of 55 and also have been selected to participate in the onsite contest of ACM-ICPC 2009, Asia Regional Finals to be held at Amrita University, Amritapuri Campus, Kerala during November 1, 2009.
