High Performance Computing Lab is established
Year 2006:
- Department has been recognized as a Centre for Research, by Anna University to offer Ph. D. and M.S. programmes in
collaboration with Anna University.

25.08.2006-27.08.2006 and 01.09.2006-03.09.2006 - Ms A.Chamundeswari has organized a .NET training
programme for III year B.E(CSE) students. The training programme was handled by a corporate trainer from INDICOM software and services,
chennai.
- 02.05.2006 - Dr.A.Srinivasan had presented papers titled “Virtual Lock for Grid Enabled Virtual
Organization” and “Security for Grid Infrastructure using Instant Key Generator (CryptServer)” in the
proceedings of 2nd National Conference on Networking and Distributed
Computing-STREAK, 2006, Tamil Nadu.
