Club Activities


SSN students excel co & extra-curricular activities in addition to academics and placement. For all round development of SSN students, the Institutions focus on co & extra-curricular activities. SSN students participate and win prizes in Technical symposiums, Sports, Cultural, Literary and Fine Arts competitions by reputed Institutions all over India. A few presented Technical papers in overseas symposia as well.

Co-curricular Activities

Co-curricular activities are carried out by the following Associations and Professional bodies to enhance the technical knowledge of students.

Department of Technical Associations
Every year students of each Department organize a National Level Technical symposium. A Technical Magazine is also released by each Department, which is prepared and published by the students.

ISTE Chapter
All the faculty members of SSNCE are ISTE members. Lectures by faculty & guests, seminars and programmes sponsored by AICTE-ISTE are conducted.

IEEE Student Branch
IEEE organizes seminars for the students on the latest developments in various fields, imparts training to interested students and encourages them to publish in leading journals & magazines.

CSI Students Chapter
This body conducts symposiums every year on the latest trends in the IT World.

Extra-curricular Activities

Instincts
An intercollegiate cultural festival ‘Instincts’ is conducted every year by SSN Institutions.

National Service Scheme (NSS)
NSS camps are conducted regularly in the villages near the college. The students take this opportunity to offer services to the school students and villagers by conducting medical camps, blood donation camps, dental camps, cultural and sports events.

Music & Fine Arts Club
The Fine Arts Club members participate in various cultural events and bring laurels to the Institution. This club holds regularly singing, dancing and music competitions.

Literary Club
Literary club, Tamil & English conducts programmes to enhance the language skills.
