Dr. S.R. Koteswara Rao, obtained his BE Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Vasavi College of Engineering (1988, Osmania University, Hyderabad), with a first class distinction. He got his M.Tech., degree in Industrial Metallurgy from REC, Warangal (1992, Kakatiya University). He obtained Ph.D from IIT Madras for his research work on “Welding of Aluminium alloy AA2219”, Materials Joining Laboratory, Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering.

He has experience of about 25 Years of teaching, Research and a short time in the Industry.

Administrative Experience: 8.5 years – includes 3 years as Principal and 3.5 years as Dean (R&D) at Tagore Engineering College, Chennai and 2 years as Head of the Department/Mech. Engg. at SSN College of Engineering, Chennai.

Sponsored Projects: 8 Projects As Principal Investigator, completed 7 Projects worth about 1.2 Crores, sponsored by DRDO, NRB, ARMREB and DST. One more project for ARMREB is currently in progress.
